Explaining GPG
- Coworker: Luke, why do your emails have that little "dude" icon showing up in my Outlook?
- Me: Oh, I think that's how Outlook indicates that my emails are signed with my GPG key.
- Coworker: Gee Pee What?
- Me: You know - it verifies that I'm me. It's a cryptography thing. You know, like PGP.
- Coworker: *confused look*
- Me: You know, never mind. It's just a like a little "dude" icon. This way you can find my emails quickly in your inbox.
- Coworker: Oh, ok! Cool!
